Macamic

Macamic is the second largest city of Abitibi-Ouest after La Sarre. Lake Macamic, barely one minute from downtown, is a pleasant spot to carry out activities like ice fishing.

In the Algonquin language, Macamic means «lame beaver». While you're in Macamic, don't forget to visit our covered bridge, in Rang 2 et 3.
