La Sarre

Economic and cultural pole of Abitibi-Ouest, and fourth largest city of Abitibi-Témiscamingue, La Sarre lives mainly on forest industry and raw material development. In 1989, it was named Canada's Forestry Capital.

La Sarre has recently developed a city bikeway and a nice bridge named «Passerelle du Millénaire».
