Rotary Art Centre
The "Maison de la Culture" shelters the municipal library of La Sarre and the Rotary Art Centre, where various visual arts exhibitions are presented year round.
The Community arts centre groups includes the Municipal library and the Center of art Rotary.
FROM MAY 30TH TILL SEPTEMBER 1ST, 2010 «LAS'ART »
This exhibition is organized for the artists of the region onto street. This year, it is the theme " Memories of formerly " which will be exploited. By performing a coupon of participation (to the Community arts centre), the public can choose his very favorite work.
Varnishing : in May 30th from 1:30 pm till 3:30 pm to the Community arts centre. Every year our artists are proud to transport you in their universe. They will make you discover the colors which live in them.
EXHIBITION «LAS'ART »
From June till September, you can admire unique paintings conceived by local artists while trailing round you in the streets of the city of La Sarre.

Exhibition of the photos of the mayors of the City of La Sarre. Varnishing : in June 7th at 1:30 am in the room of the council.
FROM JUNE 27TH TILL SEPTEMBER 1ST " EXHIBITION OF WORKS IN THE ROOM OF the COUNCIL "
The City of La Sarre presents it more than 50 works which are a part of its collection. Varnishing : in June 27th from 1:30 am till 3:30 am.
FROM JUNE 20TH TILL SEPTEMBER 5TH " EXHIBITION OF THE FINISSANTES TO THE CERTIFICATE IN ARTS "
Graduates students certificate in arts is proud to present their most recent creations outcome of three years of work, research and production.
Varnishing : in June 20th in the center of art Rotary in the form of 5 to 7.
FROM 13 TILL 18 JUNE 2010 " EXHIBITION(EXPOSURE) OF THE STUDENTS OF MAUDE GOBEIL "
Exhibition in the room of the council. Varnishing : in June 13th from 1:30 pm till 3:30 pm in the room of the council of the City of La Sarre.
FROM JUNE 20TH TILL SEPTEMBER 5TH " CENTER OF INTERPRETATION OF THE FORESTRY OF LA SARRE "
Very representative of our abitibien heritage, the Center of interpretation proposes a complete conducted tour which evokes the life of construction site and the history of the sawmills of the region.
Duration: 40 minutes Opening of the center: in June 20th, 2010 - Free
COMPETITION OF PHOTOS " WITNESS OF PAST "
This competition has for objective to promote our region (Abitibi-Ouest) and to give itself the necessary tools to arrive there. We invite all the amateurish photographers from 9 to 99 years old to join. Form of available registration in the center of art Rotary of La Sarre. Deadline of registration in the competition : in June 12th, 2010
Criteria of participation:
- You have to be the author of photos
- Be original
- Respect the chosen theme
- Compulsory dimension 8 x 10 on paper photo
- Register on the endorsement of the photo: title, name, address, telephone and e-mail
- Bring your photos (maximum of 4) before August 31st, 2010
